A project to develop an “Atlas of Desertification in Spain” (ATLAS) is underway. This work began in 2023 and is planned to conclude at the end of 2025. The primary objective of this mapping exercise is to develop an Atlas of Desertification in Spain (ADE) as a foundation for actions to be implemented within the National Strategy to Combat Desertification and the implementation of Land Degradation Neutrality in Spain.
